Meet Lakshmi Mittal's daughter Vanisha and son-in-law Amit Bhatia - the million-dollar couple, literally!
Their wedding was the most expensive affair in the world. Now, after one-and-a-half years of marriage, Vanisha - daughter of steel baron Lakshmi Mittal - and Amit Bhatia are still a much-talked-about couple.
But for the duo, domestic bliss comes first."Life after marriage entails more responsibility. We live alone now, with our pet Gucci. And running a household is quite something," reveals Vanisha.
Amit chips in, "She's a perfectionist. She always has the candles lit and the food hot for dinner." So, what is their take on the wedding - held at a French chateau with the who's who of the world in attendance?

"For us, it was just our wedding. We were on our honeymoon when all that hype was happening, and it didn't matter to us."
They both met in their teens and were the best of friends for a long time. "And then, one thing led to another, and we finally decided to tie the knot."
The young couple shares many interests. "We love scuba diving and skiing. We also are big foodies and love to go to the same restaurants in London," says Vanisha. Though, the one interest that they don't share is sports.

Amit is a big cricket buff, while Vanisha prefers reading. They love going on holidays together. As Vanisha says, "We don't travel now as much as we used to.

There's never any time. I love travelling to new countries. We try and discover quaint little places in Europe and Asia and take safaris in Africa."
Amit runs a hedge fund in London. "I think India's a super place to be in now. The economy is so strong that it's just the right place to invest in." While Vanisha works with her father.
"I started working after marriage and my work consumes me completely. I'm obsessed with it." So, how is it to have a working relationship with her dad. "He's not my boss, so we don't have to interact for work.
But, we meet for lunch everyday. He's my mentor and best advisor. If I'm ever stuck, I ask for help." The house in Kensington, which Mittal bought at a record price, is just a stone's throw from their own house.
"We keep dropping in there and my mother-in-law has designed each room according to our individual tastes," says Amit.
